Hullo! I'm a girl, just barely grown up, who loves the 1940s and an odd assortment of westerns, Audrey Hepburn, swing jazz & Film Noir.

Once I had a quality stream of classic amazingness. Now, you will most likely find David Janssen picspam, or some nonsense about plotless 60s films.

It should be duly noted that I'm an obsessive, analytical fangirl of practically everything that captures my fancy. Consider yourself warned.

Vintage, My Love

the morning comes and also the night

O.O I have just one thing to say: WHERE?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?

My glorious library apparently has had it for weeks/months/I don’t even know. I’d basically given up all hope. I’m almost ready to forgive them for not having Designing Woman & Adam-12.

BUT IT IS A PERFECTLY LOVELY FILM. Peter is wonderful, even if his ginger hair is a little odd. The story mostly consists of Peter being captured and escaping, and then being captured again, and escaping (again). And there are sword fights, because obviously we want to see Peter display his fencing skills, and he seemed to be pretty decent with a sword.

Oh, I really wish Disney would release it outside of their exclusive club. The quality was just beautiful…ever so much better than The Moon-Spinners. You can get the DVD on eBay for about $25, which I honestly think would be well worth the expense. And I’m saying this as a person who has never paid more than $6 for a single film. (:
